| Uptown Bucks is an off-campus debit account/meal
plan. With Uptown Bucks, you will be able to make purchases
at participating restaurants using only your UB card. Uptown
Bucks provides the flexibility and variety that students demand. |
| How does Uptown Bucks work? |
| When you signup for Uptown Bucks, the funds
you place into the account are attached to your UB card. Your
UB card will arrive within a couple of days by mail. Once
you receive your card, you can start using it right away.
Just visit the restaurant of your choice and give them your
UB card when you go to pay. |
| Where can I use Uptown Bucks? |
| Uptown Bucks may be used at all participating
merchants. For a complete list, click

| How do I know how much I have spent? |
| Whenever you use your Uptown Bucks account,
your remaining balance will print on the receipt. You may
also log into your account online to reveiw your transactions,
see your available balance and add additional funds. |
| Are there any restrictions on what
may be purchased with Uptown Bucks? |
| The one thing you may not purchase with
Uptown Bucks is alcohol. Students and parents who use the
account have found this to work out really well. Parents know
their money is going towards food! |
| What happens with the money in my
account at the end of the quarter? |
| The money that is placed in your Uptown Bucks
account will carry over from quarter to quarter and school
year to school year as long as the account is used once every
six months. |
| What happens with the money in my
account at the end of the school year? |
| The money left in your account will carry
over to the next school year. If you are going to stay in
Athens, you will be able to use your account during the summer
months. |

| You can signup for your Uptown

and once completed, you will be able to use your UB card at
all of your favorite off campus restaurants! |
